Closed Schools - Emergency Procedures
Procedures for Emergency Closure (i.e. in the event of snow, flood, loss of power)
We endeavour to remain open at all times, but should this not be possible you could find out by one of the following ways:-
check the Local Authority Emergency Closure system website, which shows the schools that are closed at www.glosclosedschools.com
listen to the recorded message on our Careline number 01452 722697
listen to announcements on local radio stations Heart radio or Radio Gloucestershire (closures might also be on the radio station websites).
We would also email or text parents who are registered on our ParentMail communications system.
May we ask that you please do not phone our main school number to enquire, as this will jam our communications at a vital time, nor phone the radio stations.
If weather conditions should change for the worse during the day, please check our school website or careline for any updates.
