Clerk to Governors 

The Governors are looking to appoint a professional Clerk to act as the official channel of communication to and from the governing board and to enable the governing board to function smoothly and efficiently.
 
Main duties include: Setting agendas in collaboration with Chair of Governors, Head Teacher and Business Manager, distribution of supporting paperwork, writing concise and accurate minutes and ensuring actions are taken prior to the next meeting.
 
The role is for approximately 6 meeting per school year, approx. Meeting usually take place on a Tuesday evening from 5.30 – 7.30 p.m. A willingness to work flexible hours is required as the workload is variable, claims can be made for agreed additional hours. Meetings may be held in person at the school or virtually through teams or zoom.
 
1.5 hours per week, term time only.  Grade 6 (£27,803 - £30,296 per annum, pro-rata).  Closing date for applications: 12th July 2024.  Interview date: tbc.
