Craig Baldwin

 Chair

Hello I’m Craig, I have been a member of FABG (friends at Beech Green) for 11 years and have been the chairperson for the last five.

My daughter is currently in Year 5 and I have a son who left Beech Green 6 years ago and is now at college.

You will often see me around the school as I more recently became the school caretaker and have been working at lunchtimes as part of the play-team, so lots of your children will know who I am.

By working across these different roles, I have developed an understanding of how the school "ticks." I see the daily logistical challenges, interact with the children during their social time at lunch, and collaborate with staff to help keep the site running smoothly.

Together FABG are working to help build a vibrant school community and support the wonderful staff and students here. With your help and participation in the events we put on we are able to raise much needed essentials funds to benefit the children.

Sarah Lainchbury

 Vice-Chair

I am Sarah, I am the current Vice Chair of FABG. I have been a member of the team since September 2024. You have probably seen me around one of the many events or discos we have organised.

My favourite event to be involved in (so far!) is definitely the Christmas Fayre.

I have a son in Year 3 who also likes helping with our fundraising ideas!

Stacey Slocombe

 Treasurer

Hello, my name is Stacey, and I have been a member of FABG since May 2024. Since September 2025, I have been proud to serve as Treasurer, helping to manage the FABG finances and support the fundraising efforts that benefit our school community.

I have a son, Dexter in Year 4, and being part of the FABG has given me a great opportunity to contribute to the school and help create positive experiences for all of the children. I enjoy working alongside other parents, teachers, and staff, and I’m committed to continuing to support the school in any way I can.

In my spare time, I love crafting, which I enjoy using creatively when helping with FABG events and activities.

Nick Caddy

 Secretary

Hello, my name is Nick, and I have been a member of the FABG since May 2024. Since then, I have taken on the role of Secretary, supporting the organisation of meetings and helping to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

I have two children at the school, with my son in Year 4 and my daughter currently in Reception. I joined FABG because I wanted to help raise money for the school and support the opportunities available to all the children. I’ve been involved in a range of events, including school discos, Christmas fayres, and other fundraising activities.

My favourite part of being on FABG is seeing the real impact of what we do and how the money raised benefits the school and the children.

Outside of FABG, I enjoy football and running my marketing agency. I would describe myself as organised and friendly, and I enjoy being part of such a supportive team.

Meetings

We are always keen to welcome new members, to bring fresh ideas and enthusiasm!  There are plenty of ways that you can support us throughout the year, so if you can spare some time please leave a note of your contact details in the FABG drawer in the school office and one of us will be in touch.
